Canvas Loading Issues for Some Chrome Users

First Posted:
Last Updated:

Some Chrome browser users are currently experiencing issues when loading certain aspects of Canvas – including Gradebook, the Canvas Inbox, and/or Canvas Quizzes. This issue appears isolated to the Google Chrome browser. Canvas engineers are working on a solution. In the meantime, we recommend that instructors use Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox if they experience loading issues when accessing these tools. Students experiencing this issue should be directed to the ITS Helpdesk. Visit the Canvas Community for more information concerning supported Canvas browsers and known behaviors. See CIRT LMS News for updates concerning this issue.
