Turnitin Service Degradation (5/15/24)

May 15, 2024 – 09:58 EST – We are aware of reports regarding potential service degradation impacting Canvas. Turnitin Similarity and Turnitin Originality are currently experiencing an unexpected service incident. Users accessing these services via integration may also be affected. During this time, users may experience slowness when uploading submissions as well as delayed report generation.

Our team is currently investigating the issue and working towards a swift resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

May 15, 2024 – 12:24 EST – Turnitin is reporting that they have identified the problem and have implemented a permanent fix. We are pleased to advise you that services for Turnitin have been fully restored.
