What is Canvas Credentials?
Canvas Credentials (Formerly Badgr Pro) is UNF’s official badging platform for digital badges issued by the University and University partners. Educational institutions, professional organizations, and businesses use the Canvas Credentials platform to recognize and certify skills, knowledge, and accomplishments.
Overview
UNF digital badges awarded through Canvas Credentials are automatically synced in Canvas Credentials Backpack, while badges from other sources can be manually uploaded.
The Canvas Credentials Backpack allows badge earners to view all of their earned badges, share them, and organize them into collections. You do not need to be faculty, student, or staff at UNF in order to access your Canvas Credentials profile and Backpack. Though if you signed up by using your UNF email, you will need that same email to view your badges.
Access Your Backpack
- Go to badgr.com
- Click Sign Up Free/Create an Account in the top right of the window. (Note that if you already signed up with a UNF account, you can log in with your UNF email).
Select United States as your Badgr Region and click Save and Continue.
- If you are creating a new account, a verfication code will be sent to your email. Enter the verification code and click Continue.
- Once you have logged in, click on Backpack to see any badges you have earned.
