Respondus 4.0 / Exporting Canvas Quizzes

Summary

Quizzes in Canvas are difficult to print and cannot be downloaded directly to an editable format. Quizzes can be exported from Canvas as a QTI file and then imported into Respondus. From Respondus the quiz can be printed. This Guide will provide step-by-step instructions for the entire process.

Please note this feature only works with quizzes and not question banks. In order to download a question bank, first create a quiz with all the questions from the question bank.

Step 1: From within a Canvas course, click Settings in the course navigation menu.
